The bed was not rock solid, it was pretty comfortable.

If you want Internet access in your room it's 10 dollars a day. Hotel staff are very vigilant about "reminding" us to spend our money at the hotel, not outside the hotel.

We had a lovely time.

The beds are wonderful and the reading lights over the beds are perfect for individual reading. The maids are accommodating, cheerful, and efficient as are the concierges.

2 night bank holiday stay in Puerto Vallarta

Great hotel with lovely bedrooms/bathrooms, huge pool area and very attentive staff. The gym and ICT services at the Link were a bonus. Location meant the Malecon and town centre were very accessible.

Rooms and exterior of hotel could be updated. Pushy to get you to listen to a timeshare presentation.

What was the highlight of The Club at Sheraton Buganvilias Hotel

Great view & location. But... food and hard selling of timeshare ruin it

- beautiful clean rooms - updated rooms with everything (see pictures) - view was amazing - stayed in 1811 - there is an Oxxo directly across the street to get all your snacks, hard liquor, wines, and other beverages. - not a far walk from the malecon - walking distance to other local restaurants - lots of seating by the pool and on the beach with lots of palapas - 2 pools. One quiet and the other is lively with a swim up bar - pools are heated - Sunday is brunch day. Locals and tourists are here all day. Just FYI! It was really nice. Mimosas are served during brunch : ) - if you have a floaty for the pool, go to the sheratoon’s kids place and they will inflate it for you. (Otherwise their is a VW and Nissan dealership across the street. They may do it for you. Or theirs a gas station a little further down towards the malecon) - there is happy hour in the lobby bar. Which is a pretty good deal - Uber will pick and drop you you off in the hotel loop. $37 pesos from the hotel to the malecon!! Best deal ever.

- Literally as soon as you are finished checking in, another staff member whisks you away to the concierge desk and then tries to “encourage” you to take a tour of the grounds and its amenities. In exchange we would receive a Sheraton VIP 20% off discount card for food and drinks, discounts on massages, cabanas, tequila tasting tour, and FREE wifi throughout the entire property. When directly asked if this was a timeshare presentation. She lied and said “No” just a tour of the hotel. Okay so we said yes. They reserved us a time slot for the next day and they also ask for $20 deposit in case you fail to show up. She kept going on and on about the facilities. Not thinking that hey, we just travelled for X amount of hours and would like to use the bathroom! They try to “persuade” you with drinks with tequila to divert your attention from what you are signing up for. Luckily, my friend took the drinks and I declined as i needed the bathroom and was hungry for food not drinks! Well, the next day we showed up and of course it was a timeshare presentation. We cut right to the chase and let them know, that we (2 ladies under 30) weren’t going to be buying anything! We didn’t lie about our age or income when asked. We also aren’t a couple either. Just 2 good friends on vacation. My friend argued with them and sure enough we kept all the discounts promised to us and a new wifi code that would last for 7 days. As the one they gave us was only for 24hours. Needless to say not a pleasant experience with staff within our 1st 24hours there. - free wifi is just available in the lobby - food is inconsistent and not very good in the a la carte restaurants. Especially the beef tacos. Some days it’s great and other days the meet is super fatty but is still called a flank steak taco. - beach is rocky and water is rough. Did not go in. Stayed by the pool. Overall would probably stay here again.
